The beaches of Acciaroli and Pioppi stretch along the Cilento coast of Pollica, between Casal Velino and the Mezzatorre of San Mauro Cilento. Sand, pebbles, cliffs and pine forests alternate along a coastline that is among the most awarded in the Mediterranean.
The 2019 Guida Blu by Legambiente and the Touring Club Italiano listed them among the most beautiful beaches in Italy. Pollica has won Legambiente's 5 Sails for several consecutive years, the highest recognition for the quality of the water and the environment, and in 2019 it reached first place among Italian seaside resorts thanks to the Cilento Antico project.
Clear waters, healthy seabeds and a well-protected coast make this sea one of the symbolic destinations of Cilento National Park: ideal for swimming, snorkelling and boat trips, in full respect of the environment.
