From 20 to 23 June 2026 the Cilento in Opera Festival brings great opera to the heart of the municipality of Pollica: four evenings interweaving music, sea and historical heritage in two exceptional settings.
It begins in Acciaroli, in Piazza San Pietro overlooking the harbour, with the opening Verdi gala and La Traviata. The festival then moves to Pollica, to the evocative Convent Cloister, for a bel canto recital and a symphonic concert: two places that become natural theatres for the voices of the Italian operatic tradition.
The event is promoted by the Fondazione Alario per Elea-Velia, with the artistic direction of pianist Marco Schiavo: a project that combines cultural excellence with the enhancement of the Cilento area.
